Ar gandarījumu paziņojam, ka 2012. gada augustā notiks otrais starptautiskais šaha festivāls RTU Open, kas norisināsies RTU telpās 2012. gada 6.-12. augustā. 14. augustā Rīgā noslēdzās starptautiskais šaha festivāls RTU Open 2011, kura ietvaros tika aizvadīti divi klasiskā šaha turnīri ar ELO aprēķinu un ātrspēles turnīrs. Kopumā festivālā piedalījās 166 dalībnieki no 19 valstīm.

The first international chess festival “Riga Technical University open” recently has come to the conclusion. The festival included two ELO tournaments and the blitz tournament. 166 chess friends from 19 countries took part in at least one tournament.

RTU open atlikusi pēdējā sacensību diena, kurā A turnīrā tiks aizvadīta izšķirošā pēdējā kārta, bet B turnīrā pēdējās 2 kārtas. Tāpat 18:30 tiks aizvadīts ātrspēles turnīrs, kurā aicinām piedalīties visus šī raksta lasītājus.
